He loves us ALL?
Whenever I am in an airport, especially a crowded one, I find myself looking for people who resemble someone I know. I think it’s my brain trying to come to terms with the huge number of people I DON’T know! It’s mind-boggling to think of all the strangers in the airport, and then in all the airports, and then all the people who aren’t in airports and those who never will be in airports…I cannot imagine such numbers of Father’s children… and each is unique.
I know without doubt that Father loves me. He loves me not for anything I do or say, but for who I am- His child. I also know He loves all His children. Every unique individual one.
I can’t comprehend how He can care for and bless each of us. Surely being eternal and not limited by time is a factor. Being all knowing and all powerful must be essential. An infinite capacity for empathy and love must be there. But still….
Although I can’t understand, I can believe and rejoice. I feel so blessed and grateful to know He loves us. He loves us ALL. He sent His beloved Son to redeem us and show us the way home to Him. I can’t comprehend that either. I’m so glad that I don’t have to understand it to be blessed by it! Amazing!
