Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Recently, Brother Roger Byington, of the High Council, emailed a letter to all Stake members reminding us of the importance of, and the wonderful blessings associated with, Temple and Family History Work. He invited us to be actively engaged in this work.
My name is Sister Patti Watkins. I am a Clearfield North Stake Temple and Family History Consultant. Our Stake Presidency, and our Stake’s Temple and Family History Leaders and Consultants join Brother Byington to invite you to put forth your best efforts to serve the Lord in this way.
During the month of May, we ask all in our Stake (youth and adults, skilled and unskilled), to spend a little extra time Indexing. As a Stake we would like to increase the number of Indexed Names submitted by 5000.
If you have questions, or are in need of help, there are several options available. You can call your Ward’s Temple and Family History Leaders or Consultants. You may use the resources of the Layton Family History Center class handouts by going to Layton Family History Center on the internet and clicking on class handouts.
